From the Dark Corners to the Front Page: PR Case Study on Mental Illness

As public relations and communications professionals, there is a lot we can learn about the issue of mental illness and the challenges to increasing its awareness in the public domain. Join us as we learn how mental health advocates from the Royal Ottawa Health Care Group are changing the conversation about mental illness and learn through the Canada Post example, how you can apply their experience to other difficult issues in your workplace.

De l'ombre à la une: étude de cas sur la façon d'aborder la maladie mentale en RP

À titre de professionnels des communications et des relations publiques, nous avons tout avantage à nous informer sur la problématique de la maladie mentale et sur les défis à relever pour sensibiliser le public à cette question. Nous vous invitons à participer à une séance de discussion au cours de laquelle des intervenants en santé mentale du groupe des Services de santé Royal Ottawa expliqueront comment ils réussissent à modifier la façon dont on évoque la maladie mentale. Vous pourrez également vous inspirer d’une expérience vécue à Postes Canada pour apprendre comment composer avec d’autres enjeux difficiles dans votre milieu de travail.
